This year our goal has been to strengthen the presence and heighten the public’s awareness of Christian Family Week on the Boardwalk at Seaside Heights, and the Lord has truly blessed our endeavors. For starters we are very excited over the recognition that Christian Family Week has received, specifically, Seaside Heights will be issuing a Mayor’s proclamation for Christian Family Week; we are receiving a State Joint Legislative Resolution of the General Assembly and Senate commemorating Christian Family Week at Seaside Heights; and will be getting a Proclamation from the Governor’s office.
Additionally, Seaside Heights has shown us favorable consideration by graciously hosting and permitting the Christian Family Week tradition to continue on the boardwalk and has been a tremendous encouragement to open our events and activities to the entire boardwalk (formerly the event was exclusive to the north end of the boardwalk) and various streets ends (that lead up onto the Boardwalk).
It is our vision to create a series of activities and events along the Boardwalk from the hours of 1 PM to 10 PM daily. Activities and events include concerts by up-and-coming Christian artists, soloist, performers and local worship teams, speakers, open air preaching, evangelist, clowns, drama and skit actors, literature distributors, magicians, art and object lessons and more.
